Before You Start
To get the most out of this course, please have these basics ready:
A place to show your art — this could be a simple website, a Facebook page, or even Behance (free with an Adobe account). This is recommended if you plan to sell originals or prints. (I’ll share suggestions, but we won’t be covering site setup in class.)
A way to get paid — set up a Stripe account so you can connect it directly to your checkout pages.
Your Flodesk account — be ready to sign up during class. I’ll share my special link for 50% off your first year.

Hi, I’m Mary - artist, mentor, and founder of The Creative Collective, an online art community where artists find their creative voice and grow their practice.
With over 20 years of teaching experience and an MFA in visual art, I know firsthand how overwhelming the “business side” of art can feel. I’ve been featured in outlets like Martha Stewart Living Radio, Home Business Magazine, and the Chicago Tribune - but what excites me most is helping artists simplify the tech, build systems that actually work, and start selling art without burning out.
I created this 6-week course because I saw too many artists holding back - not because their art wasn’t ready, but because their email list, checkout process, and sales tools weren’t set up yet. My goal is to make this part clear, doable, and even (dare I say) fun, so you can finally put your art out there with confidence.
